Last updated: 9 October 2026

This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit bergopro.com or www.bergopro.com, contact us, or do business with us. “Personal information” means any information that identifies you as a person, such as your name, email address or phone number.

1. Who we are

Both websites are operated by BERGO PRO Building Materials Trading LLC (“BERGO PRO”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Address: Warehouse L12, Phase 1, Dubai Industrial City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Email: info@bergopro.com. Phone: +971 4 564 2460.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us when you fill in a form, email, call or message us, or place an order: your name, job title, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, details of your enquiry or project, and delivery and invoicing details.
  • Information collected automatically when you use our websites: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies (see Section 6).
  • Information from others: our affiliated companies, resellers and distributors when they pass us an enquiry, and public sources such as company websites and business directories.

Please do not send us sensitive information, such as details about your health or religion. We do not need it.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • reply to your enquiries and send quotations, samples and product information;
  • process and deliver orders, issue invoices and receive payments;
  • provide after-sales and warranty support;
  • manage our relationships with customers, resellers, distributors and suppliers;
  • send you news about BERGO® products, if you have agreed to receive it;
  • run, improve and protect our websites and systems; and
  • meet our legal duties, including tax and invoicing rules, and protect our legal rights.

We only use your information where the law allows: to take steps you ask for or to perform a contract, to meet a legal duty, with your consent, or (where the law permits) for our legitimate business interests in a way that does not override your rights.

Marketing. You can stop receiving marketing messages at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in an email, replying “STOP” to a message, or contacting us.

Software and AI tools. We may use business software, including AI-assisted tools, to help our team handle enquiries more efficiently. Our staff remain responsible for the replies and decisions. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you based only on automated processing.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only when needed, and only as much as is needed. We may share it with:

  • our affiliated companies (companies under the same ownership as BERGO PRO) and authorised resellers and distributors in the GCC, when your enquiry, order or project is in their country or they help us supply or support our products;
  • service providers who work on our instructions, such as website hosting, email and IT services, accounting systems, couriers, banks and electronic-invoicing providers;
  • professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers; and
  • authorities, such as tax and customs authorities or courts, when the law requires it.

If our business, or part of it, is sold or reorganised, personal information may be transferred to the new owner under confidentiality terms. We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Your information may be handled in other countries, for example by our affiliated companies elsewhere in the GCC or by service providers whose systems are located abroad. When this happens, we take the steps required by law to keep it protected, such as written agreements with appropriate data protection terms.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies that are necessary for our websites to work. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our websites, and cookies set by third-party features such as maps, videos or chat buttons. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and you can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the websites work.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. As a guide:

  • enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years after our last contact;
  • customer, order and invoice records: for the period required by UAE tax and commercial laws (currently up to 7 years);
  • warranty records: for the warranty period of the product; and
  • marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.

After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

8. How we protect your information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our websites and limiting access to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a data breach where the law requires us to.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information or restrict how we use it;
  • object to our use of your information, including for marketing;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it; and
  • not be subject to decisions based only on automated processing that significantly affect you.

To use any of these rights, email info@bergopro.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner if the law in your country requires it. There is normally no charge.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the UAE Data Office, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), or, in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

11. Other information

Children. Our websites and products are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Other websites. Our websites may link to other websites, such as social media, resellers or online marketplaces. Their own privacy policies apply.
